About Us
The New Hope church of Christ meets in the Cross Key community in Limestone County, Alabama. Christians have been meeting here continually since 1933. The goal has always been to practice simple New Testament Christianity.
- In addition to the support we provide for our located preacher, we also send support to five other gospel preachers.
- Our membership strives to spread the gospel in our community, and to uphold the New Testament principles that are presented in God's word.
- Our young people engage in a monthly Bible Study that rotates among our members homes.
- In June of 2011 we are planning another vacation Bible School, "The Fruit of the Spirit". In July, we look forward to another Gospel Meeting. We are looking forward to future Bible Studies and learning opportunities. Our members consistently strive to show love and good works in our community.
We are currently blessed with three men serving as Elders and three men serving as Deacons.

These men meet the qualifications set forth in (1Timothy 3:8-13 ) and have specific ministerial tasks appointed to them in order that the Elders can give themselves to the task of overseeing the souls of the local church.

Our Minister:
Bob Watson (and his wife Stephanie) began working with the New Hope church in May, 1999. He has worked as a minster with other congregations in Alabama, California, Missouri, and Tennessee. Bob's work is to do the work of an evangelist (2 Tim. 4:5 ) in the preaching of God's word. He has been preaching the gospel since 1982. Recent evangelistic trips include traveling to Monterrey, Mexico in the summers of 2005 and 2008. In addition to serving as the evangelist at the New Hope congregation, Bob is a high school counselor with the Huntsville City School system in north Alabama.
